Volunteering for the Charles River Center is a fulfilling way to give back while making a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
We have opportunities that last just a few hours to longer commitments helping with programs or volunteering on committees.
The Wellesley Service League has volunteered with Charles River for over 46 years, and Needham High School students regularly serve as Recreation Aides in our summer camp and after-school programs. Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops have cheered runners at our 5K, and many teens have volunteered at the Charles River Center as part of their Mitzvah project.
The Charles River Center is always looking for volunteers to
- After-school programs
- Summer vacation programs
- Monthly dances
- Special Events (5K, Ellie Bloom Olympics, Wings for Autism)
- Various boards and committees (Gala, Human Rights, Legislative Efforts)
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
If you would like to volunteer with The Charles River Center, please contact Hilary Ryan, Vice President of Development at firstname.lastname@example.org or 781-972-1030. Thank you for your interest!
